After much frantic crocheting I managed to finish my shawl in time for my evening out.

I am really pleased with how it turned out, the yarn choice was perfect. A little bit of shine from the silk fibres and so warm too. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I finished the whole shawl off with a ruffle edge, just so that it wasn't too plain - but also not too fussy.

Next thing will be to write up the pattern for this and hope someone likes it enough to try to make it for themselves.
